Hi, I’m Shannon. I recently moved to Haymarket, VA from Kansas City, MO with my husband. I am finally a gainfully employed speech-language pathologist after graduating from grad in school in December. My undergraduate degree is in illustration, but 5 years went by and I decided that I wanted to do something a little different with my life. I still try to be creative- I knit, I pretend I’m a photographer (and sometimes end up with a few decent shots!) and occasionally I’ll sew something or make something crafty. Now that I’m out of grad school, I would love to start painting and drawing again. However, it seems like I don’t have much more free time than I did while I was in school! For now, I spend most of my free time riding and racing my bike(s), knitting, and trying to photograph things; and then writing about all of it. I use my blog as a personal journal, though all are free to read it, should it be of interest. It kind of started out as a “bike blog”, but really ended up just being a mix of whatever I feel like writing about. I still try to go heavy on the bike content though
